Tensions run high when Shaun Gallows takes his psychic girlfriend to Shadow’s Grove in the hopes of unravelling a mystery he’s become obsessed with. The strange little town holds more than one secret, and their visit triggers a chain of events that lead to Shaun uncovering a truth about his destiny, alongside a deadly new threat to humanity.
Meanwhile, Sarah Gallows’ problems with men seem to be multiplying as she pushes back Ben’s advances, tries to do the right thing by Ray, and wonders how she’s going to break her bond to the demon War. When her mother finds out she took Ray on a vampire hunt, she’s given an ultimatum that forces her to rethink her relationship with her human boyfriend.

The twins are back and their demon tracking world grows darker still. Shaun learns it is a bad idea to bring a date to a haunted house when a murder mystery quickly spirals into a cat-and-mouse game with a deadly Fae. Sarah and Ray’s relationship is put to the test with Ben and an even greater threat: Sarah’s mother. The ass-kicking in this installment is in prime form, and Stevenson knows how to write at a rapid pace to keep you turning the pages. My favorite Dev cracks me up as usual, and the end is a tantalizing peek into what further challenges away the twins. The wry humor, twists and turns, and secondary characters who constantly keep the twins on their toes make this a great urban fantasy series to return to again and again.Product details

Fate Fallen A Gallows Novel Book 3 eBook Sharon Stevenson Reviews
Review of Fate Fallen
Rating 5 stars

This is the third instalment of the Gallows’ series and so far I have just loved them and Fate Fallen didn’t disappoint.
Majority of the story is told through Shaun’s eyes he’s my favourite, so I was delighted. I love how he’s real, he can be so selfish at times and it’s not until afterwards that he feels guilty. I love the chip on his shoulder but then he’s never had it easy, so who can blame him.
His selfish actions really come to light when he takes Elle is “Girlfriend” away for the weekend. But he wants to kill two birds with one stone, and check out a murder that has rattled him, one he read in the paper. But his ploy backfires. Elle sees what happens when she agrees to go to the house and it shakes her up and she also realises that Shaun thought his soul mate was here, talk about shooting a girl down. Elle gets huffed and goes back to the hotel room kicking him out it’s at this point that everything starts to move fast, and soon Shaun’s secrets unravel and his life goes downhill. Elle is taken by a fairy but she’s not upset, she’s happy and Shaun’s left on his own. He deserved it really.
I love when Shaun manages to eat a snickers or some form of junk foot at the most inappropriate moments, so funny, and following Shaun’s story we get to meet a she-wolf, a fairy and we get to teleport and find out all about Shaun’s imaginary friend – Well that’s what his parents told him.
The other part of the story is spilt between Elle who we get to learn a lot about - God that girl has secrets and of course Sarah she still stuck between Ben and Ray but it’s not her doing – Ben just won’t let it go and soon becomes a threat to Ray. So she teaches Ray to fight taking him into a nest of vampires and slaying them all. She is pretty cool but their relationship is called into the spotlight when her mum meets Ray, and Sarah gets dragged into Shaun’s own drama’s only his aren’t minor – there to save the world or let it perish.
Another fantastic instalment in the Gallows Series. I can’t wait to read Cruse Corrupted.
This a fantastic paranormal book and I really enjoyed reading it. This story covers two twins Sarah and Shaun Gallows who are demon trackers and personality wise total opposites. What you will find in this story is a lot of drama, suspense, intrigue, visions, obsession, brutal murder, teleportation, fairies, a necklace, a Seelie Prince, memories, Earth-bound Fey, Darkland Fae, human slavery, trackers, dreams, shapeshifters, a she-wolf, vampires, cages, killing, Council, a witch, demons, psychic barriers, a demonic cop, daggers, brothers, a mirror, Darklands, a contract, a Seelie Knight and there is a intriguing and tantalizing extract for book four at the back of the book. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. I would recommend this book to people who like to read interesting and fascinating paranormal books.
Fate Fallen is the third book in Gallows series about demon hunters. I like the author's voice and the witty dialogues. Too bad this book is not about my favorite character in Gallows series, Sarah. While I enjoy reading about her brother, Shaun, I can't connect as well to him (perhaps because we're different gender?).
wow, this is one crazy ride, for them to be twins they are almost complete opposites.this book in my opinion goes a little off track, but I have become immune to it.this is a very addicting book can not wait for the next.
I was fortunate to be a beta reader, which means I had a copy for honest review back in its developmental stages.
OMG SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS SERIES. Stevenson is smart, plots well, and creates likeable but realistic characters. The twists and turns come hard and fast, but the Scottish flair is noticeable in the series. I also LOVE how normal the world is--it's rare that urban fantasy deals with jobs in a sensible and straight-forward way. The characters are hunters. They are resigned to it. This is delightful.
The one thing I will say is that sometimes the characters were hard to keep track of, and I would not recommend this book for people new to the series. Start at the beginning.
Really, though, she does a good job of taking it in new directions. Don't miss this series. It redeemed paranormal fic for me.
This was a great book. I read the first two books in this series and I really like Sharon Stevenson as a writer, she keeps the dialogue punchy and fun, and she keeps the story lines crisply entertaining. But with this book she took a dark turn, and there are some scenes in here that will make you cringe. Which is great fun, the best heroes are always gauged by the villains they face and in this book Stevenson really hits the mark with her bad guy, who is just plain creepy. She also stretches out her characters, I really liked seeing more of Elle/Teri in this book she's a cool character. And Flicky just cracks me up. I'm really looking forward to what happens between Shaun & Rebecca. And the tease for book four was...shocking. I couldn't recommend this book any higher, this is the best book Sharon has done so far, and I'm sure it will just keep getting better.
